Brunch is this gal’s favorite meal. As Carrie Bradshaw so eloquently put, “you can sleep until noon and still get eggs; alcohol is often included with the meal”. It’s pretty much the best idea ever, and I could kiss whoever came up with it (likely a very hung-over individual, in search of a little hair of the dog)!
Brunch with girlfriends on a random Saturday, Mother’s Day Brunch, brunch on the front balcony of your Aunt’s beach house in Sea Isle City, NJ – yes. To all three! So how about a wedding brunch? What do we think of this recent trend?
For the right group of family and friends, brunch would be a lovely idea for a wedding. Consider this: hosting a brunch wedding would likely be much more reasonably priced, with many more options for dates, venues and vendors who can capitalize on the early morning timing.
Food choices abound for the brunching bride– waffle bars, omelet stations, delicious salads, light pastas and of course, desserts! And, did someone say Bloody Mary Bar?
