“It’s that time of year, when the world falls in love…” We used this quote on our Save the Dates (sent by email via Paperless Post – one of best decisions we’ve made thus far!) and it has been repeating on a constant loop in my head, basically ever since we started planning! The line is from The Christmas Waltz, sung by none other than Ole Blue Eyes. To me, it couldn’t ring more true in December. It does seem like the entire world is in a hazy, lovesick, possibly bubbly-induced state of red and green euphoria. Family and friends gather, traditions are honored and delicious food and drink are consumed.
Well, if that doesn’t conjure up the vision of an amazing wedding, I don’t know what does! Our wedding is going to evoke all of the feelings of holiday season, but without all of the classic Christmas fare. We want our guests to feel like they are at a very fancy holiday party with their closest friends and family.
Check back in over the next few months to see how Kristen’s plans unfold!
